This acquisition allows OV Loop to offer direct rewards and engagement through a private self-custody wallet and improves consumer privacy during transactions, exceeding the reach of Apple Pay®, Google Pay®, and Samsung Pay® combined. OV Loop aims to integrate Cultos' technology to broaden its impact on the commerce experience, connecting buyers' wallets to sellers' POS systems more efficiently. The company has also been actively acquiring fintech ventures and asserting intellectual property rights, including a recent antitrust lawsuit against Mastercard.
